Following successful events in 2021 and 2022, Ljubljana, the scenic capital of Slovenia, recently hosted the European Blockchain Week 2023 on October 6th and 7th. Co-organized by the Faculty of Computer and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana, the event gathered top thought leaders from the blockchain sector.

Attendees were treated to discussions on the latest trends in blockchain technology, with highlights on EBSI interoperability, policymaking, regulatory challenges, microcredentials, and the emerging metaverse.
